　　在5月18日到19日，广西出现了入汛以来最强暴雨过程，钦州、防城港、北海、南宁4个市的7个县(市、区)的12个乡镇出现特大暴雨。本次过程有三个特点，分别为雨强破历史极值、强降雨范围广、强降雨时段集中。

　　在钦州市钦南区龙门港镇，19日2—3时，1小时降雨量为189.6毫米，打破广西小时雨量历史纪录，该镇3小时雨量276.3毫米、6小时雨量393.9毫米、12小时雨量500.3毫米、24小时雨量610.5毫米，均打破钦州市历史纪录。

　　南宁市、隆安县2个国家气象站的日降水量(200.7毫米、171.3毫米)打破当地5月最大日降水量历史纪录，武鸣区府城镇小时雨强128.2毫米，打破武鸣小时雨强历史纪录。

　　5月18日8时至19日20时，超过400毫米有钦州市钦南区的龙门港镇713.4毫米、大番坡镇601.2毫米、犀牛脚镇472.7毫米，250～400毫米有4个市的8个县(市、区)的10个乡镇，100～250毫米有13个市的57个县(市、区)的199个乡镇，50～100毫米有14个市的88个县(市、区)的518个乡镇。19日全区10个国家气象站有大暴雨、20个国家气象站有暴雨，日大暴雨范围为2017年以来同期最广。

　　南宁国家气象站5小时(19日5时至10时)雨量达到198.4毫米，钦州市钦南区大番坡水井坑气象观测站5小时(19日2时至7时)雨量达到313.4毫米。
